The Acting Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) Mr. Ibrahim Thoha has been appointed as the company's new Deputy Managing Director.
Following the official transition of Mr. Thoha's designation, the change in the organizational structure has been informed by MACL to Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB).
The decision was confirmed through the approval of MACL's Board of Directors.
Mr. Thoha, who was working as the Deputy Chief Officer of MACL before being appointed as the Acting MD four months prior, has been employed at the company for 32 years.
Mr. Thoha was assigned with Acting MD responsibilities after Mr. Gordon Andrew Stewart, the then Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director was terminated from the company.
