Two men were arrested after police responded to reports of a woman crying for help inside a Hiyaa flat late Thursday night.
According to police, officers arrived at the scene after hearing a woman screaming inside the apartment. When they knocked, a man opened the door, claimed nothing was wrong, and closed the door. Despite this, the woman cried for help again.
Officers repeatedly requested that the door be opened to find out why the woman was pleading for help, but after no response, they had used force to enter into the apartment.
The woman was rescued, and the case is under investigation.
