The High Court has dismissed the appeal filed by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) against former Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP) leader Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.
MTCC filed a lawsuit with the Civil Court, claiming that Maumoon Abdul Gayoom must be held liable for DRP's outstanding MVR 1 million to the company. However, the lawsuit was ruled against MTCC.
