President Solih congratulates new President of Tanzania

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Saturday sent a message of congratulations to the new President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan, following her assumption of office.

In his message, the President congratulated President Samia on becoming the sixth President of Tanzania.

"As you assume these responsibilities, rest assured that my Administration is committed to working together with Your Excellency’s Government to strengthen bilateral relations and address our common concerns, from enhancing trade, overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic, and reversing, mitigating and adapting to the adverse impacts of the climate emergency."

He further wished the people of Tanzania success and good fortune in the future on behalf of Maldivians.
