President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday appointed the recently appointed Chief Communication Strategist, Ibrahim Hoodh as the official Spokesperson.
According to the President's Office, Hoodh holds a Masters Degree in International Relations and a Bachelors Degree in the fields of Political Science and English Literature.
A native of Feydhoo, Seenu Atoll, Hoodh had previously held the post of Under-Secretary during former President Nasheed's tenure. He held the highest position of the former Vice President Mohamed Waheed's secretariat.
Following the resignation of Nasheed, Hoodh had departed from the administration. He later worked for telecom giant Dhiraagu and the national bank, Bank of Maldives, during which he held the post of Head of Corporate Communication.
Additionally, Hoodh had spent a substantial amount of time working for the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
