The President’s Office, on Thursday, declared government working hours for the Islamic month of Ramadan to be from 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs.
President @ibusolih has decided that government working hours for this year’s Ramadan shall be from 0900hrs to 1300hrs (9AM to 1PM) effective from 1st of Ramadan to 7th Shawaal.

Additionally, the working hours will be in effect till the 7th of Shawwaal. A week after Ramadan concludes.until
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih advised all government employees to plan their working schedule accordingly.
According to the Islamic calendar, Ramadan will begin on May 6
During the previous administration of former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, government working hours were from 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs during Ramadan.
