Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme has concluded with 19 students graduating and receiving certificates.
Education Minister Dr Ismail Shafeeu presented the certificates to the graduates during the graduation ceremony held by Dhiraagu.
During the ceremony, Minister Shafeeu commended the apprenticeship programme as an effective initiative for youth development. He highlighted Dhiraagu's role as a key partner in the nation’s growth and emphasized the significance of youth involvement in such programmes to better prepare them for the job market.
"Programmes like these provide valuable opportunities for young people to acquire the skills and experience needed for the workforce," Minister Shafeeu said.
Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director, Ismail Rasheed said that the company is committed to offering development opportunities for youth.
He said that these programmes play a crucial part in Dhiraagu's mission to create an inclusive and sustainable ‘Digital Maldives.’

Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme is a structured training programme including skills development and opportunities to work across various Dhiraagu core business areas. Apprentices have the chance to gain hands-on experience at Dhiraagu's Regional Operations Centers in Male' and other parts of Maldives.
Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme, launched in 2009, is one of the company’s most significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
It is the first corporate apprenticeship program in Maldives, and since its inception, 288 young individuals have participated in the programme.
