CEO of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad today said that the institution will always want to assist in the sustainable development projects of the Maldives, and revealed that the fund has contributed USD 470 million (MVR 7.2 billion) for 16 different projects in the country so far.
Sultan Abdulrahman, who arrived in Maldives today, spoke at the ceremony to inaugurate the connecting bridges of Hulhumalé Phase 2 and detailed that SFD has maintained a very close relationship with Maldives over the past 47 years, highlighting Hulhumalé Phase 1 and 2 as testament to the fact.
