Villa College recently hosted an Interior Architecture Exhibition, highlighting the work of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Interior Architecture program.
The exhibition showcased 30 projects, which included designs for residential spaces, office interiors, and recreational areas. The students' designs were tailored to the Maldivian environment, taking into account the current space limitations.
During the exhibition, awards were presented to students with the most outstanding projects. The ceremony was attended by Fazul Rasheed, Managing Director of HDC, along with prominent figures from the interior architecture industry.
In his speech, Fazul Rasheed noted that the concepts presented could be utilized in the company's projects. He emphasized the significance of interior design, noting its crucial role in the development of cities like Hulhumalé.
"Good interior design brings comfort and contentment to people. Interior architects play a key role in enhancing the prosperity and well-being of families," he stated.
Fazul also encouraged students to maintain high standards in their professional work and mentioned that the company would offer opportunities in this field to Villa College students.
