Recipients of contested land plots say documents issued by previous government: Police

In their investigation into allegedly forged documents being submitted regarding land plots issued under the Binveriya housing scheme, Police have said that the recipients claim they were issued these documents by the Housing Ministry under the previous government.

In a press conference held last night, Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdulla Shareef said that as of now, issues have been found in three separate land plots.
