Hassan Shah has been appointed Managing Director to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), on Monday.
Shah's appointment was announced on Twitter by the President of the Privatization and Corporatization Board.
Shah has previously held the position of Secretary General for the ruling coalition's Jumhooree Party (JP). He is also the Party's Chairman for their environment committee, as well as a member of the Party's council.
During his career, Shah was appointed State Minister at the Ministry of Environment and as Maldives Port Limited (MPL)'s Chairman.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's administration is yet to appoint an MD for the state-owned Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and FENAKA Corporation Limited.
