Ismail Azmeen has won the First Division Men's Singles at the 33rd National Carrom Tournament 2024 for the third consecutive time.
Talented sports journalist and renowned TV commentator, Azmeen, has lifted the trophy every tournament since 2022.

Azmeen said that he did not expect to win this time due to a shoulder injury which left him with limited time to practice. He played the matches wearing kinesiology tapes on his shoulder. Hujaan was in good form leading up to the final as well.
"But advancing to the final gave me confidence. I had different experiences in final matches on my side, so I probably got the benefits," said Azmeen, who has also won international tournaments.
"I did not feel any pressure in the final."
Hassan Nazim (Naanu) and Hussain Neeshaam have previously won the men's division of the national carrom tournament three times consecutively.
