The Maldives Finance Forum, organised by Maldives Pension Administration Office (MPAO), is scheduled to be held next Monday.
The annual event convened by MPAO since 2012, will be held at Paradise Island Resort. This year’s theme is “the private sector’s role in financial and economic development”.
The forum will focus on ways to strengthen and enhance the private sector through the government and financial sector.
MPAO stated that topics examined will include the significance of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) banks in the development of the private sector, and how the laws and regulations of Maldives can facilitate a conducive environment to enhance the private sector.
Leaders of important financial institutions and those in the private sector will attend the forum.
