CROSSROADS Maldives is an integrated lifestyle destination, a space where people of different cultures can cultivate connections. The name CROSSROADS takes its pride from the history of the Maldives, when Arab and Persian traders travelling the time-honoured Silk Road put the island nation literally on the map. The entourage of these tradesmen and stories shared soon after became one of the reasons why the Maldives stands out as a remarkable nation.

After a year plus of pandemic recession, the multi-purpose destination has started welcoming guests again. The usual one-island one-resort concept is put aside to exhibit a port of call with a marina, retail spaces displaying local and international merchandise, surrounded by themed restaurants delightfully varying in their inviting menus. Locals can cheerfully divert their weekend getaways to CROSSROADS with upcoming attractive room deals, street markets, live music nights and more.

It is a place of connections and celebrations as the venture is moving forwards with a prime focus on the local market. The Marquee @CROSSROADS Maldives is an exciting venue for couples to hold intimate or large wedding celebrations. The attractive marquee positioned on the beach makes it the dream outdoor wedding experience with spectacular views. The Maldives Riviera Wedding packages are currently open for bookings for both locals and foreigners. With the professional expertise of event planners and catering teams, The Marquee@CROSSROADS MAldives is set to become the next hot spot for potential weddings or renewal of vows.

Aspiring entrepreneurs were able to showcase their artistic creations at the street market initiative at The Marina @ CROSSROADS Maldives. The Street Market was held in the procession of the anniversary celebrations, marking two years of excellent hospitality. Local brands such as Island Bazaar, Thakethi, Isles of Jewels, Vilunu, Ranuwia, Endheri Artisan and The Skin Bar displayed their creations in colourfully lit stalls. In addition, retail stalls with the likes of Rock Shop, Compass, Candy Shop, Rip Curl, Rock Spa, and Moodhu were partners.

The Street Market was not only retail therapy, moreover it delighted the taste buds with a range of F&B stalls covering inhouse outlets of SAii Lagoon Maldives, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, Hard Rock Cafe Maldives, along with Movenpick, Sansation Beach Club, Ministry of Crab, Nihonbashi, Kebab & Kurry and more. Sneak peaks of the awaited Maldivian fine dining restaurant ‘Kalhu Odi’ was displayed at their stall, accompanied with Maldivian music. The eventful Friday, closed off with dinner at the friendly, hip atmosphere of Hard Rock Cafe with live music by Equatic Vibe.

The wheels are in motion for CROSSROADS Maldives to serve with a sense of connectedness. The gradual ease of restrictions will allow transit visitors, long stay visitors or day trippers to have a wonderful time at a vibrant, architecturally appealing, destination for all.
