A massive fundraising event, 'Maldivian Women with Palestine,' will be held in Hulhumalé today by Moms Aid, a local NGO, to support Palestinians affected by Israeli atrocities.
The event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today at Hulhumalé Ruh'gandu 1. In addition to Hulhumalé, the organization has decided to host the event in several other islands.
One of the highlights of the fundraising event will be a jumble sale featuring items donated by different people.
"We have received new and good items from some stores and the general public to sell at the jumble sale," the NGO said.

Moms Aid has announced that to raise funds, there will be a food corner at the event venue. Additionally, there will be engaging activities for children, including face painting and henna application.
The organization stated that the proceeds from the event will be donated to the International Aid Campaign (IAC), an organisation dedicated to providing aid to Palestinians.
Urbanco is the hosting partner for the event, which is being organized by Moms Aid in association with IAC.
Moms Aid, a non-profit organization established to assist local mothers, has been actively organizing various events to support those in need within the community.
