Super United Sports (SUS) academy won the Milo Academy Championship organized by Soccer Veterans' Association.
SUS played against Friends Football Family Academy and won the match with a 4-0 score.
Two teams from SUS, as well as two teams from their affiliated Ali Ashfag Academy, participated in the championship held for the under ten age category. All four teams were led by Assistant Coach of SUS Senior Team Fareed Mohamed (Faritte').
A total of 31 teams from 23 academies participated in the championship, including teams from Male', Hulhumale', VilliMale' and four different atolls.
Soccer Veterans Association said that 550 children had played in the tournament.
This is the third year that Soccer Veterans has held this championship aimed at participation from academies. A minimum of three tournaments are held each year for junior age categories: for under 14s, under 12s and under 10s.
