The Ministry of Finance has decided to take strict measures to reduce additional expenses in accordance with this year's state budget.
According to the Ministry's circular, if a government body hires a new employee, it must notify the Ministry in advance. The circular also states that such hiring can only be carried out with the permission of the Ministry.
The ministry has also instructed government agencies not to make any changes in the salaries of employees and not to introduce new allowances, even if they have been included in this year's budget. The ministry has requested that no changes to salaries and allowances for employees should be made by the government.
The Ministry has also requested that, aside from essential tasks, no work be carried out during overtime hours in addition to the official working hours.
- If employees are hired for a new position, prior permission must be obtained from the Ministry of Finance
- If an official trip is made abroad, prior permission must be obtained from the Ministry of Finance
- No new additional scholarships to be granted
- No expenses on repairs to be made except for those permitted from the recurrent budget
- No new additional allowances for employees to be granted
- Promotions can only be given with the permission of the Ministry
