ADK Hospital has decided to host the annual Brain and Spine Conference on September this year and announced it during a press conference. The company shared that the conference this year will proceed workshops and also offer the chance to view a live surgery.

The announcement was made during a press conference held at the hospital today. Managing Director of ADK Hospital, Ahmed Afaal stated during the press briefing that the conference this year will be held from September 9 through 12.
He had further highlighted that this is the largest conference held by the country's health sector and revealed that it is anticipated by many professionals in the field.
"This year's conference will also proceed workshops held to develop the training required for health experts of Maldives. These workshops are run by companies and professionals working in the field. These workshops will also offer the latest information on the field for people working in the health industry alongside training and information related to various equipment," said Afaal.
Sharing that access to a live surgery has been arranged for this year's conference as well, which is set to be streamed live, he added that efforts to arrange a system for those in attendance at the conference venue to view this surgery live this year are also ongoing.
"This conference is a very important work we are doing to advance the health industry. I believe the country's health industry has advanced significantly due to this conference," said Afaal.
Brain and Spain Conference is held to propose scientific discoveries and deliberate information relevant to the industry. This conference, which is participated by the doctors both from the country and overseas will also stand as a platform for ADK Hospital to announce new services.
The sessions of the conference offers a remarkable opportunity to build a global network through interactive sessions and share research, recent innovations, advanced treatment modalities and experiences of pioneers in the field. This conference, slated for September marks the sixth conference held in the country, with the first edition held in 2017.
The press conference held today had also observed agreements signed between partners of the conference. Villa Nautica had signed as a Venue Partner of the event represented by CEO, Muaviyath Umar while Waldives had signed as the Diamond Partner with Managing Director of the company, Ahmed Faseeh representing Waldives at the signing.
Afaaal had acknowledged the contribution of partners, noting that the their support is vital to the success of the conference each year. He had further expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation offered by Villa Nautica and Waldives in organizing the conference each year.
