The body of a Maldivian man was found at a house in Male’ on Saturday night.
Police said a 67 year old man was found dead in a house in Nikagas Magu.
According to the police, he came to Male’ for medical care. However, when no one heard from him, the police was informed and they visited the residence around 20:50 hrs last night.
When they entered the room the man lived in, they found his dead body, they said.
Mihaaru News reported that people had said they smelt decay from that area in the past couple of days. Witnesses said the body had been badly decomposed, and the body had been moved to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
No further details about the man has been shared yet by the Police.
