Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has claimed the boat beaching area development project in Noonu Atoll Velidhoo is well underway.
According to the contractor, it is currently constructing the revetment and breakwater structures which are at 88 percent and 25 percent completion, respectively.
The beaching area development project includes reclamation operations of 1.5 hectares and leveling of 138,247 square meters of the reclaimed area. Additional components include the construction of a 214 meters revetment and a 100 meters breakwater, which are currently in progress.
The project is valued at MVR 19.4 million.
