Maldives rebound from the Nepal defeat by beating Bangladesh with two goals in the SAFF Championship.
Nepal defeated Maldives by a goal and Maldives was in need of a win to go forward. With the win Maldives now has a higher chance in the finals.
Hamza Mohamed' acrobatic shot scored the opening goal in 57th minute and Ali Ashfaq doubled the lead through spot in minutes before the full time.
Maldives have moved to third place with three points from the two matches while Bangladesh have four points from three matches.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih had attended this match.
The next matches will be held on Sunday; first between Sri Lanka and Maldives at 4 pm and the second match at 9 pm, played between India and Nepal.
