The deadline for applications for Bank of Maldives' (BML) Small Grant Fund initiated in celebration of the bank's 40th Anniversary, expires on September 15, Thursday.
The fund, aims to provide financial assistance to NGO's for various projects related to sustainable development and environmental issues.
Eight projects will be selected from the applications and provided with MVR 250,000 from the Small Grant Fund for each project.
Applications for the fund can be submitted via email before the deadline. However, only NGO's registered with the bank till last year will be eligible for the fund.
BML had also opened the application process for Small Grant Fund during March. This is one of 12 events to be held in connection with BML's 40th anniversary in November.
Among them, in addition to small grants, housing grants, BML start-up grants, further development and modernization of the National Library and the introduction of a BML scholarship fund have been implemented so far.
