Popular band RAVEO has released its second album, titled DNVR, following immense success after their first release.
A special show 'Planet RAVEO' was hosted in Hulhumale' earlier this month to launch DNVR. The show, held at the Hulhumale' Synthetic Track, show massive crowds of fans attending. This was also the first solo show the band has performed in.
Lead vocalist of RAVEO, Ahmed Humam (Zolo) said that DNVR has a collection of songs based on the lives of youth and some centred on the beauty of Maldives.
"The music album this time is very much synthwave, a bit futuristic. This is a pop rock album," he said.
"Based on reviews received so far, different people prefer different songs. One song that was liked by many is 'Vashaaviyey'."
A video for one of the songs on the album, 'Vey umurah', was also released ahead of the album, which has a total of eight songs.
All songs of DNVR can be streamed on Spotify and Soundcloud.
Two years ago, RAVEO launched their first album 'Kurehun', with seven songs, to major public applaud.
RAVEO was formed in 2016 by lead vocalist Zolo and his friend Jym Niyaz. Other members of the band are lead guitarist Zayan Faisal, keyboardist Hussain Hisaan and bass guitarist Mohamed Inan Adhil.
