President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed, on Saturday, visited the solo art exhibit 'Impermanence' by Ahmed Amir, at the National Art Gallery.

"Impermanence captures and exhibits fleeting moments of time as seen in the movement of clouds, waves and water. It is a tribute to the natural beauty of our world", said Amir.

The art gallery houses over 40 oil paintings depicting scenes of crimson sunsets, haunting full moon nights and other natural scapes which frequent the idyllic tropical destination.

In addition to the paintings, Amir is selling merchandise including tote bags, bookmarks and notebooks.

Held in association with the National Centre for the Arts (NCA), the exhibition will welcome visitors until November 12 and require no entrance fee.
