Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives announced Monday that pre-orders for Apple’s latest smartphones, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, will be opened this Thursday.
Confirming the date of opening pre-orders in a statement, Ooredoo had also released the details of its packages:

Ooredoo again offers two payment schemes for the latest iPhone with both full payment and a year-long monthly installment payment.
The installment scheme is available to Ooredoo’s postpaid customers with a deposit of MVR 2,999. The monthly installments for the various models are:

Ooredoo offers special features to customers that pay in full with 12 GB of free data and 1,200 free call minutes to all Ooredoo numbers. Meanwhile, the company is offering 36 GB of free data for one year to monthly installment customers.
Apple’s regional distributor and stockist Soft Touch Maldives had earlier stated that the high demand for Apple’s latest release in the Maldives had prompted them to increase their stock by 120 percent.
Apple is introducing a range of brand new features with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus such as splash and water resistance, two camera lenses that shoot as one, stereo sound system and most notably, wireless earphones named AirPods. The new iPhones also have displays 25 percent brighter than the old model and more powerful and long-lasting batteries.
