President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed two Deputy Ministers to the newly formed Ministry of Higher Education, on Monday.
The two deputy appointments are:
- Ismail Zabeeh: Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
- Aishath Shafina: Masters of Development Studies
Zabeeh previously served as a Lecturer at Mandhu College and Managing Director at International Chain Maldives Private Limited. He was formerly a Senior Research Officer at the President’s Office.
Shafina previously served as a Consultant / Regional Manager at Education First Maldives. She also served as the Bureau Chief at Mandhu College.
