President Solih conveys Republic Day greetings to India

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Saturday, conveyed greetings to President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion of India's 70th Republic Day.

In separate messages to President Kovind and Prime Minister Modi, President Solih sent good wishes to the Indian government and the country's citizens.

President Solih highlighted the long history of cooperation between the two countries and expressed gratitude for India's crucial contributions to the further development of Maldives.

Additionally, the President expressed hope that economic, political and cultural ties between Maldives and India would be strengthened in the upcoming years and deliver mutual benefits to both countries.

The message was concluded with President Solih wishing for prosperity and progress for India.
