Habib Bank opens Hulhumale branch

Habib Bank Limited of Pakistan opened a new Maldives branch in the reclaimed suburb of Hulhumale on Sunday.

The Hulhumale Branch is the first Habib Bank to be established outside of capital Male. The new bank was opened by economic minister Mohamed Saeed.

Declaring Habib Bank as one of the most reliable banks in the Maldives, the minister thanked the senior management of Habib Bank for its continued trust in the Maldives government and expanding its services in the archipelago.

Habib Bank assured that its services in the Maldives will proceed further with the increasing population in its aspirations to boost the economy of the Maldives.

The Hulhumale branch of Habib Bank features all the services currently available in the Male branch, including savings accounts, financial assistance and ATMs.

Habib Bank is the oldest international bank in the Maldives, which had commenced operations in 1976. The bank currently operates 25 branches in various countries.
