Ooredoo Color Run to commence at Central Park

Telecom giant, Ooredoo Maldives to host Ooredoo Color Run on November 23, Friday at Central Park, in reclaimed suburb Hulhumale’.

The company has planned a 'Varah Thafaathu' (very different) day for this year. In addition to the Color run, Ooredoo will host a special kite festival and music show.

Gudi Mahaasamaa

With a unique name, the 'Gudi Mahaasamaa' is a kite festival aimed to bring back the tradition of flying kites in Maldives. The activity can be enjoyed with family and friends from 08.00 A.M, prior to the Color Run.

The event includes fun displays, a kite workshop, a kite flying competition and a bols race.

Pre-registration is not required to participate in the kite festival.

Ooredoo Color Run

The 5K run kicks off at 03:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. This colorful and fun-filled run and aims to promote running as a fun way to achieve a healthy and active lifestyle.

Each kilometre covered during the Ooredoo Color Run, runners will be rewarded with a burst of color powder from color stations, and songs from incredible music artists.

The run is not a timed event and so, participants can choose to walk, jog, run or dance to the finish line.

Ooredoo Color Run also celebrates the excitement with a number of fun awards for the Most Entertaining Runners and the Runner with the Best Costume. Prizes for the winners include smartphones, gym subscriptions, and vouchers from partners.

Music Show

After the Color Run event, a music show will be held from 8.30 p.m. onwards, featuring talented artists from the local music industry. Top names in the industry such as including Traphic Jam, Levitation by Habeys, Sama, Zippo with Soppe and Habeys Boduberu will be performing at the show.
