Former Brigadier General of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Abdulla Shamaal met with President-Elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Wednesday.
Shamaal was dismissed from his position by the current administration due to a document he prepared against senior military officers. There were more officers of MNDF dismissed from their positions due to the issue of the document.
However, there have been no further details made about the meeting between Shamaal and President-Elect Solih.
In addition to Shamaal's meeting, Acting Commissioner of Police Abdulla Nawaaz has also met with President-Elect Solih.
