A Maldivian citizen who fled to Syria to join the terrorist group 'IS', was beheaded following his capture by opposition terrorist group 'Tahrir al-Sham'.

In a statement given to the local news outlet 'Mihaaru', the Maldivian who was killed has been identified as Ahmed Zubair (Zubba) from Villimale'.

According to a credible source, the capturing and beheading of Zubair by 'Tahrir al-Sham', incriminates other Maldivians belonging to the terrorist group.

As claimed by the members of 'IS', 'Tahrir- al-Sham' consists of apostates who have gone astray and follow a blasphemous regimen. 'Tahrir al-Sham' shares the same discernment towards 'IS'.

Zubair was previously captured and released by 'Tahrir al-Sham' prior to his death. He was captured for a second time during a recent uproar between the two terrorist groups and was killed after detainment.

Zubair is also a member of the religious extremist group, 'Dot Com', that previously existed in Male.

An expert specializing in religious extremist behavior reveals that a number of Maldivians are known to be joining the terrorist group 'IS' as well as 'Al-Nusra Front', and that war often breaks out among these Maldivians.

"Maldivians belonging to both terrorist groups have been warring for a time, in fact, Maldivians are definitely involved in Zubair's death" he said.

Increasing numbers of Maldivians have been reported as fleeing to other countries in alliance with terrorist groups such as 'IS' and 'Tahrir al-Sham'.

According to statistics revealed by the government, to date approximately 50 people have fled to Syria for war purposes.

However, according to international observers as well as statements from the opposition, the number of people who have fled Maldives for war is closer to 250.
