Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives has declared Team Malahini the winner of its annual night fishing competition “Ooredoo Mas Race”.
Team Malahini was awarded a MVR 175,000 speedboat designed for fishing and a MVR 150,000 Evinrude 60 horsepower engine.
Malahini won the championship after beating Team Milaidhoo, the runner up of the competition. Team Enzi won third in the competition.
The ‘Thafaathu Maakeyolhu’ prize in the male category went to Abdul Haadhee Mohamed from Team Milaidhoo who caught a 11.05 kilogram faana during semifinals and to Nashaama Mohamed from Team Malahini for a 10.5 kilogram handhi. The winners of the “Thafaathu Maakeyolhu” were each awarded MVR 5,000 as cash prize by Ooredoo.
‘Ooredoo Mas Race’ is open for companies, resorts and other offices for participation.
