Parliament's second session sittings is to start on June 25, according to Progressive Party of Maldives' (PPM) parliamentary group leader and Villimale MP Ahmed Nihan.
The date is two weeks later than that date specified in the parliament regulations.
MP Nihan told Mihaaru that the agenda for the sitting has not been prepared yet. He added that there is a lot of work to be done in this up coming session.
Parliamentarians have been facing harsh criticism for allegedly not doing "enough work".
Meanwhile, the case of 12 opposition parliamentarians are still pending.
