The Maldives government has appointed a new assistant to the Permanent Secretary of the Parliament, and a Head of Administration.
Former legal officer of the parliament, Hannan Hussein, was appointed as assistant to the Permanent Secretary, and former director Ahmed Faiz was appointed as Head of Administration.
Applications for the job openings were announced to the staff of the parliament on May 2 with a set deadline at May 9.
Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC)'s Managing Director Fazul Rasheed had earlier served as Head of Administration to the parliament before his shift to MWSC in January 2015.
