The Criminal Court has decided to hold the trial of Arabiyya School’s former principal, Nasrullah Musthafa, behind closed doors as he is charged with sexual misconduct over illegal possession of pornography.
The charges against Musthafa also include obstruction of law enforcement and parental negligence. He has denied all charges against him.
Musthafa was also earlier charged with scamming four individuals by illegally sending them on Hajj pilgrimage and stranding them on arrival in Saudi Arabia last year. His charges included forging documents and failure to acquire legal permits. He had denied those charges as well.
He had declared in January this year that all allegations against him regarding the Hajj scam were baseless fabrications. Moreover, he had filed lawsuits against journalists of two media groups over publishing reports of the case, claiming defamation.
