Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has announced that businesses, whose annual profits exceed MVR 10 million are now subject to filing their Business Profit Tax (BPT) online.
According to the tax ruling by MIRA, registered taxpayers are required to file their BPT via the online platform 'MIRAconnect'.
However, MIRA further added that businesses are not obligated to file amended tax returns online under the recent amendments.
