Amilla Fushi, the luxury four-star resort in Baa Atoll, has announced a special camp to provide professional football training for children at the end of this month.

The “Easter Camp” will be held in Amilla Fushi from March 31 to April 2, in conjunction with Futboltec, a Sydney-based football academy that was developed by former professional football players, Jason and Glen Trifiro.

Amilla Fushi declared that it would extend invitations to not only the children of in-house guests at Amilla Fushi and its sister resort Finolhu, but the school children of Eydhafushi in the same atoll as well.

The three-day Futboltec Easter Camp will be hosted free of all charges, under Amilla Fushi’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. It will be conducted in the two categories of Junior Camp (ages 5-11) and Senior Camp (ages 12-16), providing nine hours of experienced coaching for all the participants “on a field where players have the freedom to play and creativity is the most important thing”.

Amilla Fushi added that it would supply the children with training shirt, shorts, socks and other training equipment as well. Individuals interested in participating can book spots by contacting Amilla Fushi at [email protected] or +9606606444.

The resort is also looking to host more similar events in the future.
