A man was stabbed in capital Male on Wednesday.
According to Maldives Police Service, the victim was a 23 year old youth, who was hospitalized at privately run ADK Hospital following the attack.
Details of his injuries have not been disclosed yet.
Police stated that they are investigating the case.
The stabbing came in the wake of a recent lull in gang violence in the capital city.
