Ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) MP Ibrahim Falah has purchased a MVR 4 million plot of land in the capital Male.
The Inguraidhoo MP bought the 1,000 square feet land named ‘Al Hadheedh’ in the Maafannu ward of Male from a private individual.
The Civil Court on Thursday declared MP Falah as the sole proprietor of the land as he had paid the full amount to its previous owner.
The outspoken MP is the deputy leader of PPM’s parliamentary group, and is active in all party activities, including its recent campaign visits with President Abdulla Yameen and First Lady Fathmath Ibrahim to the central atolls.
Reportedly, he had also purchased a speed launch recently and named it after the ruling party’s official flower.
