Waheed resigns as Fenaka CFO

Abdulla Waheed has resigned from his post of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Fenaka Corporation.

Waheed has said today that he resigned from his CFO post in cooperation with discussions held for him to be changed to another Chief level post.

Waheed was appointed CFO of Fenaka on 11th September 2014.

However, he was removed from his responsibilities for a year from 26th October 2023.

Upon his removal from the post, Waheed filed a case against Fenaka to the Employment Tribunal of Maldives. The Tribunal concluded that Waheed was removed without any proper reasoning. The Tribunal gave the order to reinstate Waheed.

Waheed continued his work as CFO at Fenaka after the Tribunal's ruling.
