President urges working in unity for nation's development

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu urged everyone to work in unity for the development of the nation.

The President called for unity while speaking at the inauguration of the new terminal of the Velana International Airport last night. He appealed to prioritize the nation above all else.

"We should all strive towards rolling up our sleeves and working together to move forward. This is all I want to say tonight."

Working in this way, he said, would make it possible to achieve many progresses such as the modern terminal.

"In both monuments and meaningful ways, the nation will see development. Our minds will become developed. The holistic development I always speak of can be easily and swiftly achieved," the President said.

The President said that in this way, infrastructural development and development of the mind can be achieved in tandem.
