Maldives Police Service launched a manhunt on Wednesday for two suspects wanted in connection to the murder of Mohamed Anas in late July.

In an announcement on their official website, Police urged anyone with information on Mohamed Saaz, 21, of Thaa atoll Kinbidhoo island, and Afrah Abdul Razzaq, 21, of capital Male to come forward.

Informants can reach Police’s Serious and Organised Crimes Department at its duty number 9911099.

Police have so far arrested four individuals in the case, including prime suspects said to have been physically involved in the killing.

Mohamed Anas, of Raa atoll Meedhoo island, was found with 37 stab wounds in Litus Service Centre on July 31. He was a captain of a speedboat operated in Raa atoll.
