Woman in hospital after fall from building

A woman is currently receiving treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) after she was discovered fallen on to the roof of an adjacent building earlier today.

Police said they received reports of the incident at 7:23am this morning.

Although it was revealed that the woman is 21 years of age, no further details regarding the incident has been disclosed as of yet. As such, severity of injuries sustained, or which storey of the building she fell from remains unclear.

The woman was taken off the roof with assistance from MNDF's Fire and Rescue Service and taken to IGMH for treatment. She remains under treatment at the hospital.

The hospital has also not revealed details of her condition as of yet.

Police said that they are conducting further investigations into the incident.
