A Maldivian died in an accident that took place in Cochin, India in the early hours of Wednesday.
The accident took place at 2:00 a.m. May 24, which killed Aishath Raaiha, 24, of Raa atoll Maduvvari island. Mihaaru understands that she was in an auto rickshaw, on her way back from a hospital, when another vehicle crashed into the rickshaw. Raaiha was accompanied by three other women.
One of the women suffered a head injury in the accident and was treated at the hospital. However, her condition is not serious and she has since been discharged.
Raaiha went to Cochin with her husband for medical treatment.
