Over MVR 100,000 raised via TikTok Live to help Palestinians

Famous TikTok user Mariyam Sama Shareef raised over MVR 100,000 to support Palestinians affected and displaced by Israeli attacks.

Popular TikTok user, Mariyam Sama Shareef has raised over MVR 100,000 to support Palestinians affected by the severe and brutal Israeli attacks on Gaza.

TikTok live sessions were held every night, and last night Sama’s live session was dedicated to raising awareness and support for those affected in Gaza.

During the TikTok live, Sama addressed that many people were unaware of how to offer assistance to Palestinians. She emphasized that the primary purpose of the TikTok live was to make it accessible for those who wished to help.

At the end of the TikTok live, a total of MVR 100,660 and USD 380 in aid were collected.

On Sama’s Instagram, she posted a receipt showing the funds being transferred to the account of the International Aid Campaign (IAC). The IAC is an organization committed to channeling local Maldivian assistance to those in need abroad. It is also leading efforts to raise aid for Gaza.

Sama raised a significant amount of money during the TikTok live. She has demonstrated her commitment to charitable endeavors. Her previous efforts through the ‘Hithun Hithah’ account, which focuses on providing aid for Maldivians and their families in need, further exemplify her commitment to helping others in times of hardship.
