His visit was facilitated by an invitation extended by former LGA vice-president Shujau Hussain.
Shujau expressed that he invited Dolly to visit the Maldives after learning about his desire to holiday here. Dolly is scheduled to stay in the country for a week, as mentioned by Shujau.
"This is an invitation for him to experience the beauty and culture of the Maldives," stated Shujau.
Dolly shared glimpses of his trip on Instagram, including photos and videos.
During his stay, Dolly is lodging at Adaaran Hudhuranfushi in Malé Atoll.
Upon arrival, Dolly had the opportunity to meet Bollywood actor Sohail Khan. He posted a picture of their encounter at Velana International Airport on social media.
Sohail Khan had come to the Maldives for a vacation with his two children.
With over two million followers on Instagram, Dolly has amassed a significant social media presence.
For the past 17 years, Dolly has been selling tea on the streets, captivating many with his unique style. His distinctive glasses, hairstyle, and necklace have become his trademark.
Dolly gained international attention in February after a video surfaced on social media showing him preparing tea for Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who was in India for the wedding of Mukesh Ambani's son. At that time, Dolly was unaware of Bill Gates's identity.
Dolly has collaborated with social media influencers and Indian filmmakers. His fame has even attracted celebrities to visit Nagpur to meet him.
