The Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Development will convene a meeting to solicit opinions of land allottees regarding the land use plan for Giraavalhu Falhu.
According to an announcement by the Housing Ministry, the meeting is scheduled to take place next Wednesday.
The Ministry requested those who received land from Giraavalhu Falhu to attend the meeting. They also stated that those who wish to attend the meeting and submit their views on the matter are required to register themselves.
An online form was included along with the statement.
The Ministry has released the land use plan for Giraavalhu Falhu, which is currently undergoing land reclamation.
The plan includes residential plots, community zones, government institutions and presidential plots in Giraavalhu Falhu.
The proposed plan entails the inclusion of facilities such as hospitals, schools, mosques and land for sports and recreation. Additionally, commercial land and an industrial zone have also been identified.
An environmental protection zone was also identified in Giraavalhu Falhu.
