Allied Insurance has announced a series of social media contests for the upcoming Ramadan.

Briefing the media about the competitions, Allied General Manager Ibrahim Firshan said that a Madhaha competition will be held on Facebook for the fasting month and a TikTok competition with the hashtag 'Insured Life with Allied'.

Firshan said the Facebook Madhaha competition will be judged by a panel of judges on the basis of scores and the best contestant will be given an iPad. Unlike that competition, tiktok contestants will enter a lucky draw and three selected from the draw will get MVR 3,000 as a cash prize.

Allied's Facebook Madhaha competition is open to children under the age of 12. During the competition, parents will be able to post their children's Madhaha videos with the hashtag #Alliedmadhaha from the 1st day of the fasting month till the end of the month. The video has to be posted in a public setting.

Allied's contest on TikTok is open for participation through posting a TikTok video with the hashtag #insuredlifewithallied that describes how the person perceives what the hashtag says or describes insurance, on the basis of experience or creative opinion. The participants will be able to participate in the tournament till March 25.

Allied has launched an Islamic insurance plan for valuable household goods; a complimentary gift pack will be provided to customers taking a luxury plan that fetches up to MVR 650,000 per year. The promotion will be held from today till the end of Ramadan. This plan is available online through Allied apps and main Allied portals. The complimentary gift from the plan can be redeemed from H. Orchid, the building where Allied's customer front office is located.
