Ooredoo Group has introduced the Ooredoo Learning Academy (OLA), designed to nurture and train its employees with the collaboration of numerous stakeholders within the group.

The academy aims to develop the skills required by employees to establish an internal talent marketplace in the company and provide the necessary education and training towards expansion and growth of the company.

Training will be extended to employees across all companies within the group, with each country receiving specialized courses tailored to meet the specific needs of companies within that region.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Chief Human Resource Officer at Ooredoo Group, said that the academy will cultivate employees who can keep pace with industry changes and advancing technology.

Employing a neighborhood system for training, the academy incorporates methods such as coaching and mentoring to enhance staff capabilities. The academy will start its programmes in various courses like digital, technology, business, procurement, finance, human resources, leadership development, among others.

According to Ooredoo Group, the courses at the academy will maintain standards of high quality and will be delivered in collaboration with various partners at national and international levels.
