Three of the resorts being jointly developed by Singha Estate and Singha Corporation of Thailand and Hard Rock Cafes in the reclaimed lagoon of Kaafu atoll Enboodhoo island are to be unveiled next year.

In an interview to Thai news website The Nation, Singha Estate’s CEO Naris Cheyklin stated that Singha recently signed an agreement with Hard Rock International Hotel Group to develop nine atolls in the reclaimed lagoon of Enboodhoo.

He said that the resorts will encompass the natural beauty of the Maldives as well as provide a “complete vacation experience”.

The resorts will feature facilities such as a world-class beach club, yacht marina, over 20 food and beverage outlets, shopping promenade, a local culture and marine life centre, function halls to host meetings and weddings, and over seven different hotel brands, according to The Nation.

The three resorts to be opened next year are being completed under the first phase of the Enboodhoo resort project. According to CEO Cheyklin, the resorts will be unveiled in July 2018.

“We’re glad and very proud to work along with Hard Rock in developing the first hotel in this mega-project,” he said.
